Out with the old (2010) . . . In with the new (2011)

Wow!  Can you believe that 2010 is over?!?!  I think I blinked and the year was over!

Well let’s see . . . The year started out with a bang when we found out that I was pregnant with our second (and last :) child born July 19th, Sophia Nicole.  So I spent most of my wedding season this year pregnant running around at weddings like a crazy person!  I have to say, to all of my fabulous clients that put up with me in the state that I was in, I thank you :)   You guys couldn’t have been better!

And how exciting that I had about 4 past clients have babies this year!!!  Kimberly had Joe David on Oct 10th, Ashley had Maddison on November 21st, The Hawthorne Family added a new addition, and The Dakin Family added their 1st addition back in March.  I think I have the clients with the cutest babies (I am a little bias :)   I think there are a few more with babies around the corner this next year so I can’t WAIT to meet everyone!

This year was full of great surprises, a few downs but mostly ups.  As 2011 knocks on the door, I can’t help but think about what lies ahead.  I have some FABULOUS weddings that I am totally looking forward to!  I am looking foward to seeing my 2 daughters grow, change, and learn daily (but hopfully not too fast :) .  Mostly I am looking forward to all the new experiences that might come my way.

I want to wish EVERYONE a Happy & Prosperous New Year!  Remember one of my favorite quotes:

”Life journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well perserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out shouting, “. . .Holy Shit. . .what a ride!” ~~George Carlin
