I am always on the look out for new wedding ideas and fun stuff to share with my clients. Blogs are a great way to get information! Most wedding blogs post up to 800 real weddings per year and what better way to get ideas for your wedding than to read about someone elses. The K .I.S. S. wedding blog is one that I’ve found that I think is chocked full of fun ideas from the extravagant to DIY! Check them out at KISSwedding.com and on FB at KISS on Facebook

If you weren’t out enjoying this weather today . . . then shame on you!
So after meeting with my now new beautiful bride Diana this morning, I decided that I was sick and tired of sitting inside and after we drove by to check on the progress of the new house I took the kids to the park over across from the Market Common. I just LOVE that park over there and it seemed like everyone had the same idea that we did. It was packed! I put Sophia in her stroller and Alexis rode her bike. After several failed attempts at trying to fly a kite we gave up and just decided to walk where ever our feet took us
We walked around the shopping area for a bit and ended up at Canipes Chocolates (of course!
, we took some fun and goofy pix of Alexis on her bike and her shadow (she is such a poser). I was inspired by a friend of mine Liesl Diesel of Liesl Diesel Photo who did some fun shadow shots the other day. Then Alexis decided it was time for dinner (fries of course!
Well it was a FABULOUS day and if you weren’t out enjoying this weather today . . . then shame on you!

What a Photographer does in February . . .
So, since it’s February and I’m just trying to get organized for the upcoming AWESOME year (and designing a few albums) I’m not doing a lot of actual shooting. So today was such a BEAUTIFUL day I thought I’d take Sophia outside in the back yard with the dog and throw the ball for him a few times. Now, for those that know our dog Jeter, you know that he is the broken retriever. He’s 1/2 lab 1/2 golden retriever and couldn’t retrieve a tennis ball if he tried! It makes it really difficult to throw the ball for him because he won’t bring it back to you! But we still had fun and I even got a chance to pull out one of my NEW Canon 1D MK IV cameras and my 16-35mm f/2.8 lens to play a little. Because this is what a Photographer does in February with not much to do

A New Year . . . A New Blog :)
Hello All!
So 2011 has had an interesting start for me. The Bridal shows in January were FABULOUS! Joe and I met sooooo many great people and the Limo Bus was a HIT! Our House is moving right along and for those that follow us on FB I have been trying to post pictures regularly of the progress. Sophia is growing like a WEED, and Alexis is totally enjoying Kindergarden.
So with all the NEW stuff going on around here, I thought it was time for a little new stuff online as well. So here is to a new website and new blog for 2011!!! I am super stoked about this new blog and I have decided that one of my new goals for 2011 is to make myself write at least 3 to 4 new blog posts per week. Some of it may be about photography, some may be personal. Some may be serious, some a little off the wall (alright, for those that know me, I never do anything “a little off the wall”
I’ll just be excited to be sharing it with you.
Well, I hope you enjoy! Life gets a little crazy around here sometimes but it’s always interesting
Love to all!
Gillian
