Kacey Caudle Bridal – Mansfield Plantation
If you remember the move The Patriot with Mel Gibson – THIS is one of the plantations that they shot some of the scenes from that movie at!! It is even more beautiful in person – but not quite as stunning as Kacey
She was the essence of southern Charm and her dress was to DIE for!!! Thank goodness for beautiful weather that day!

Mary Catherine Thigpen Bridal – Pine Lakes Country Club, Myrtle Beach, SC
I have been waiting to post these since we took them!!! Since they got hitched today – now I can share them! We went to Pine Lakes Country Club (one of my favorite spots in the whole world!) and it couldn’t have been a more perfect day for it! Mary Catherine was STUNNING in her dress she got from Little White Dress. She looked just as stunning on her wedding day today!
Adriane’s Bridal Session – Kaminski House Georgetown, SC
I have been waiting to post these since we took them! Adriane wanted something classic but something that reflected her fun & upbeat personality when it came to her bridal portraits. I knew that the Kaminski House would be perfect! It’s a beautiful old museum in Georgetown, SC that is classic old south and boy did we have fun that day! Adriane’s dress was stunning on her and I think she enjoyed being a model for the day

Diana’s Bridal
I always love when my brides LOVE photographs as much as I do. Diana even went as far as to theme her wedding around photographs. So what did we do before the wedding – well a bridal of course! We probably shouldn’t have decided to do it on the most scorching day of the year back in June but as you know a real lady never sweats. Diana was truly a gentile lady of the south – even though she is from New York

Who made the Website?!?!
Well, I finally updated my website! I know, it’s been FOREVER but I’ve been just a tiny bit busy
.
Besides, picking pictures for the website is no easy task. Of course I LOVE ALL the images I give my clients or else I wouldn’t give them anything. That’s what is fabulous and frustrating about this job. If you LOVE everything how do you choose the one’s you REALLY love and not just sorta love? This question usually causes me to spend HOURS mulling over 1000′s of images trying to decide which are worthy of the website until my eyes cross or I decide that a glass of wine is in order! This is why I usually only do it 2 or 3 times a year, just to keep myself sane
So, want to see if you made the website?!?! Check us out at CarolinaPhotoStudios.com. There is 1 new Featured Wedding and LOTS of new pix under all the other galleries! (I’ll give you a hint, there is AT LEAST 1 photo from every session in the last few months somewhere there, I just can’t help myself
Thank you so much to all my wonderful clients that allow me to capture some AMAZING images for them. I literally couldn’t do it with out you!!!
Want to keep up with us and see what new stuff is going on . . . click on “Subscribe” to the right of this post and subscribe to our blog. There is always something new happening

Welcome to the 1st WTT: Wedding Tip Tuesday!
Hello All!
So excited about the very first WTT or Wedding Tip Tuesday! Each and every Tuesday we’ll be sharing Tips and Tricks to help make your wedding Super Awesome! Our Tips will come from vendors that are in the industry and have great advice on everything wedding as well as from our past brides who have the best tips having lived their own wedding experience.
Also, If you have a tip that you would love to share with future brides please email us at gillian@carolinaphotostudios.com and let us know. If we publish your tip we’ll let you know. It can be about anything from Photo’s to Flowers, engagement to after party.
WTT: 5 Basic Rules for your Wedding
1: Do your Homework! Gather referrals from recent brides-find them through friends, coworkers, family and even other vendors. Then read customer reviews at TheKnot.com/local and the Better Business Bureau (bbb.org).
2: Know your numbers. You must have an idea of the number of guests and a tentative budget before you start reaching out to vendors.
3: Don’t be afraid to negotiate. If you find yourself over budge, ask your vendors what you can do to cut costs.
4: Be an adult. Come to meetings prepared with ideas and concerns, and dress professionally.
5: Ask Questions-LOTS of them. Don’t forget to write down all their answers. While you’re at it, write down, print and track all correspondence for your records.
(5 Basic Rues for your wedding comes from The Knot Magazine Winter 2010)
